Internship Adventures: Alina & Rose -002
Shoot location for this week was.... drum roll please.... GERMANTOWN! I love Germantown! If you come to Nashville you must go, but for this shoot, Senni and Olivia needed new content for the upcoming weeks and we shot some in advance for posts planned in August. We started with shots together, then individual, and then two separate close ups (more product-based shots). It has been great to see what goes into planning content and how working in a team has to go smoothly in order for a shoot to be time efficient. You don't want to waist a model or a photographer’s time and they are great about being conscious of that. I also was able to see this week how important not overshooting is and that getting the shots you need in a short amount of time is ideal. There is no need to pick apart each picture. Having as much planned in advance is the best way to go into a shoot. Also, locations are a big part of shooting product. When producing content, it is important to understand where you're shooting, how the clothing looks up against the background, and what background looks good when photographed. For example, they both talked about tones and tints they have in their Instagram and online store at the moment and decided that brick wouldn't fit.
Honestly, working in a creative field is so amazing! Collaborating with others is such a fun part of what I do and being able to through this internship has been incredible so far!
Week three coming soon!
