Internship Adventures: ABLE/Westlight 003
Monday at ABLE I organized all the jewelry that would be featured in the photoshoot. The ABLE team keep them in a plastic zipper bag with multiple pockets and a hanger attached. The jewelry was all jumbled and disorganized due to the last shoot, so I took everything out and reorganized them, labeled them, and took out ones that didn’t belong or were last season. At Westlight, I organized and broke down lighting and other tools used in the shoots there. I met a lot of new people and learned more about the different industries in photography. Michael also spoke to me about other photographers in the fashion industry and the difficulty of being a girl in the fashion photography world. He also talked to me about the different lenses I would need. For example, the 80mm lens is great because you aren’t too close to the subject, but also are not too far away where you cannot talk and get to know your subject.
